I graduated from Maryland more than 60 years ago. At that time, we were trying to overcome racial discrimination. A wise man taught us to judge individuals by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin. I believed in that doctrine and have lived my life accordingly. Why is this no longer a logical and reasonable approach to life?
